Based on our very popular harness style named after New Westminster B.C K9 officer Dave Yurkiw, this extremely versatile harness has received functional upgrades and is now offered with your choice of Plastic GT Cobra or Metal Cobra buckle.
The breast plate is made from our Latigo leather and backed with a special neoprene liner that does retain odor like felt used by other companies. The breastplate attaches to the harness body with ultra strong 1" BioThane Beta® 520.
The belly strap is made from 1.75" nylon webbing and finished with heavy duty VELCRO® allowing for roughly 4 inches of adjustment. We've upgraded the "cop lock" buckles to your choice of Plastic GT Cobra or Metal Cobra Buckle. The attached handle includes a metal snap allowing the handle to be fastened flat to the harness.
The Yurkiw harness is very similar to our Dual Purpose Harness. Yurkiw harnesses have a smaller body than the Dual Purpose Harness and have additional D-rings on either side of the harness that can be used for puling.
All sizes have a large 7" Velcro attachment point behind the handle which will accommodate any of our 1.5" x 6" K9 ID Badges. An additional Velcro attachment points is located on either side of the harness and will accommodate any of our 1.5" x 3" K9 ID Badges. All badges sold separately.
